Application Deadlines for Master's Degree in Educational Administration
Apply before April 1 to begin in the Summer Semester
*Fall admission is available with approval from program coordinator.
Spring admission is not an option for this program, at this time.
Regular admission requires a bachelor’s degree and a grade-point average (GPA) of at least a B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) from a regionally accredited institution, like KU, or a foreign university with substantially equivalent bachelor’s degree requirements. Applicants who have a GPA of less than 3.0., but who meet all other admission standards, may be admitted on a provisional basis. Students admitted under provisional status must maintain a 3.0 average in graduate level courses.
The program is open to individuals who hold valid initial teacher licensure or private school administrators. Though initial teacher licensure is usually a prerequisite for administration positions, it is not a universal requirement.
If you are an international applicant, we strongly encouraged you to complete the application process well in advance of these deadlines, in order to ensure adequate time for processing of visa-related paperwork. The graduate admissions committee will make selections when all support documents have been received.
