Application Deadlines for Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration

Domestic & International Applicants:
Apply before January 1 to begin the following Fall Semester with an assistantship
Apply before March 1 to begin the following Fall Semester as a student employed full-time

Regular admission requires a bachelor’s degree and a grade-point average (GPA) of at least a B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or a foreign university with substantially equivalent bachelor’s degree requirements. If you are an international applicant, we strongly encouraged you to complete the application process well in advance of stated deadlines, in order to ensure adequate time for processing of visa-related paperwork.

Assistantship Requirement

Full-time students who are admitted to the MSE program in Higher Education Administration must also be offered a Graduate Assistantship in order to fulfill the program requirements. This approach reinforces our philosophy that having hands-on experience working in higher education is critical to your understanding of the academic curriculum. Learn more!
