The faculty members and instructors within the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies are dedicated to providing robust learning opportunities related to higher education administration. You will learn from academic professionals who are known nationally for their research on important topics in post-secondary education: college access and retention, diversity, inclusion and social justice, multi-cultural education, women administrators, historical perspectives of higher education, community colleges, curricular issues, and more.
Prior to their time at KU, our program faculty and instructors have taught or held administrative positions at: Ohio State University, University of Illinois at Chicago, DePaul University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Iowa, University of Akron, Purdue University, and other universities nationwide. Our higher education administration program faculty also partner with professors from other academic partners at KU to ensure that your graduate student experience and learning in Lawrence are both interdisciplinary in nature and grounded in practical experience.
