Marc Malone

Marc currently serves as Vice President for Instructional Services/CAO at Garden City Community College in Garden City, KS, a position he has held since May of 2019. Previously, he served the roles of Associate Vice President for Planning and Assessment, Department Chair of English, and Faculty in English at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, KS. He moved to Kansas after a year of part-time teaching in the great Chicagoland area at McHenry County College, Harper College, and Rock Valley College. Marc is passionate about the mission of spreading educational access, equity, and excellence to rural communities and worked to promote equity for international community college students and for diverse populations as Chair of the Equity and Inclusion Council at Cloud. He holds an M.A. in English Literature from Iowa State University and a B.A. in English Literature and French from Illinois College.
