About the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) offers master's and doctoral programs that prepare administrators, researchers, faculty members, and leaders for positions in all levels of the educational system. Specifically, master's degree programs are offered in educational administration (for leadership in pre-k-12 settings); educational technology; social and cultural studies in education; and higher education.
The department offers a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy with concentrations in educational administration; social and cultural studies in education; higher education; and policy studies and an area of focus in educational technology. Students may pursue the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy in the following concentrations: educational administration (leadership at the pre-k-12 district level); social and cultural studies in education; higher education; and policy studies.
