Master's Degree Learning Objectives

KU’s educational technology degree program has been training educators and workforce administrators for more than three decades.  As a student enrolled in the program, you will develop an e-portfolio demonstrating your personal perspectives and competencies related to national educational standards in educational technology and workforce training.  You will also complete a culminating paper demonstrating in-depth research and/or development of understanding for your chosen area of study.

  • Learn how to apply understandings of instructional design by developing real-world applications.
  • Experience supervised real-world practice in a media center: selecting, designing, classifying, producing, and managing learning technology.
  • Produce a comprehensive electronic portfolio that describes theoretical perspectives and demonstrates your competencies gained from the program.

Learn how you can be a part of the next generation’s leaders in educational technology.
