Jennifer Bessolo, Ed.D., teaches courses in the MSE-Educational Leadership program and the Ed.D. doctoral cohort program. She earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Kansas and currently serves the Lawrence School District as the K-12 Curriculum Director. Prior to this position, Jennifer has served public schools in Kansas and North Carolina for over 15 years as a Middle School Director, principal, assistant principal, and high school Language Arts teacher and coach. A mentor for the Kansas Educational Leadership Institute, she has coached principals in their first year of service and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Washburn University, Fort Hayes University, and Baker University in prior years. She has served on several Kansas Department of Education state wide committees and has presented at the state and national level on Open Education Resources and Personalized Problem Solving Learning Styles.
